Writing for 100 Years from Now…

An activity in descriptions:

A typical day in my life (at age 26) is going to work. I work as a microbiologist for a large corporation. I’m currently working very hard to become a junior scientist and plan interesting a novel experiments. A large portion of my day is spent reading articles, performing experiments and writing reports on what I’ve done and what I plan to do. When I return home, I typically intend to do something creative. I’m inspired by my fiance Sal and his creative abilities. I usually need to relax though and even though I find creative experiences relaxing, I get frustrated a bit too quickly when something doesn’t go my way.

Currently a postage stamp is around 42 cents? I’m unsure, I barely ever mail things through the post office, e-mail is a way of life and paying bills digitally is where it’s at. A loaf of bread is about 2.00 I think? It’s weird, I don’t pay attention to the cost of individual items typically. Our grocery bill whenever we shop seems to be about 70 dollars. It doesn’t matter how long it’s been since the last time we shopped was, always 70 bucks.

My favorite book series are the Harry Potter books. Call it comfort food for the intellectual soul, I love that boy wizard and the tales of his life. For movies, ever since we discovered Netflix, my movie watching has increased incredibly. I also just finished watching The Last Airbender T.V. series and absolutely loved it!
